Merry Christmas!

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

What a wonderful day. We enjoyed lots of time with family and friends.

The children are excited about all of the gifts they received and even more excited about the remainder of the family that has yet to make it to town.

We gained a new home for a new family member on Christmas morning. Abigail got a Hamster cage. Hmmmm, What was I thinking?! She was so excited. Harrison has a ramp for his skateboard/bike and the number for the emergency room on speed dial. Grayson has a Leap Frog reading system and is enjoying "reading" his own books.

We had an eventful year. Lot's of ups and downs. Looking forward to much more ups in the new year and to see what is in store for us all.

Hope you all had the Merriest Christmas yet and are looking forward to all of the blessings waiting in the New Year!

Stating the obvious

So the attempt to keep everyone up to date has obviously fallen flat. That is what I get for setting such high expectations for myself.

On a daily basis I feel a sense of major accomplishment when everyone makes it to where they are supposed to be and back home. Without any phone calls reminding me that I actually have to pick the children up from school. Thankfully that has only happened once and was a minor communication error on the part of the parents involved. (Yes that would include me)
So here we go with the bi-annual update:

Abigail is excelling in school. She is truly taking a huge liking to english and literature. She loves to read and write, all the time. If she is not doing one she is working on the other. She is doing really well in her classes at dance and I am super excited about all of the events they have coming up. I have seen some real strides made this year. She is truly full of surprises.

Harrison is doing really well in school as far as his grades go. He maded HONOR ROLL for the first nine weeks. WoooooooHoooooooo!!!!!! I can not tell you how excited I was about this and he is truly proud of his accomplishment. Our behaviour, well we will just let that subject slide for now.

Grayson has decided to come into his own over the past few months. He is very inquisitive and must have a set of adult eyes on him at all times. I absolutly adore him as long as he has not found a pair of scissors and is hiding somewhere cutting up whatever he found that looked good.
All in all it has been a good year. Ready for next year and all that it may bring.
